Shipping & Delivery

All Items are dispatched from our Melbourne Warehouse, Australia.

Delivery to and within New Zealand uses a variety of professional carriers, with timeframes influenced by your location and order size.

Provided all items are in stock, estimated delivery lead times are as follows:

  • North Island  3-4 weeks
  • South Island  4-5 weeks

Actual times may vary due to shipping schedules. Confirm shipping timelines with our Auckland Showroom before ordering.

Frequently Asked Questions

Comfortel New Zealand (www.comfortel.co.nz) ships New Zealand wide. On the ‘Checkout’ page, under your order there is a ‘Shipping Cost Calculator’ to enter your postcode to get an estimate of shipping costs to your area. Minimum shipping charge is $20.00+GST.

Due to the nature of furniture being bulky, shipping costs are calculated according to size and will be shown at checkout. Delivery charges are calculated based on the delivery address and on the size of the order (some orders must be delivered by a 2 man crew).
Freight Method will be determined by our warehouse in Melbourne, Australia.

Please note that the shipping companies we work with, deliver to the front door on ground floor only. If your business is not ground floor please contact one of our offices so we can discuss alternative arrangements.

Alternately, please call our customer service team on 09 271 4610  to obtain a price for delivery. Our office hours are open Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 5:30pm, excluding public holidays.

Your location and order size will impact on the timeframe to get your order to you. Provided all items are in stock, estimate delivery lead times are as follows:

  • Auckland areas  Estimate 4-6 Weeks Due to Port Congestion
  • North Island between Estimate 4-6 Weeks Due to Port Congestion
  • South Island  between Estimate 4-6 Weeks Due to Port Congestion

Delivery dates are estimates only; Comfortel will use its best endeavour to maintain the estimate. Unless prior arrangements have been made, delivery is to ground floor only, inside the main entrance.

All goods are packaged for safe transport (including pallets in some cases) – please bear this in mind as our service does not include unpacking or rubbish removal.

Some products, especially mirrors and ceramic basins are FRAGILE. It is your (the customer) responsibility to ensure that products received are not damaged. Any claims for damage to fragile items must be made within 6 HOURS of the time of delivery.

In the event that delivery is delayed or complications arise, Comfortel is not responsible or liable for any for any consequential loss or damages.

For shipping in Singapore, please go to www.comfortel.com.sg or change the country via the drop down menu on the top right hand corner.  We also have a dedicated showroom based in Singapore, please contact them on  65 6677 0715 to place your order over the phone or visit the Singapore showroom in person.

For other areas, including USA please fill in the contact us form with a list of items you wish to purchase.  We are able to create custom orders if you are happy to pay for the delivery costs.  Our Sales Department can tailor a quote including prices in USD and shipping costs from Australia.

Our policy is to keep you informed. When your order is despatched, we will contact you by email with the tracking information so you can keep a close eye on your delivery.

All shipments contain valuable goods. Because of this, our carriers are contracted to produce a Proof of Delivery.
If you are comfortable with having your order left without the carrier obtaining a signature, please indicate this in the special instructions box when placing your order online.
We are unable to accept any responsibility for your order once delivered if you select this option.

Any incorrect, missing or damaged items received must be reported to Comfortel Furniture within 72 hours of you receiving the delivery, on  09 271 4610 or email us at info@comfortel.co.nz and state your web order number.

If item(s) received is not what was ordered, please do not open the sealed package in which it was sent. Use of the incorrect item will be deemed to be acceptance by you of the item(s) as a satisfactory substitute for the one that was ordered and no further claim can be raised thereafter. If you received the order incorrectly, the property of the Goods remain the sole and absolute property of the Seller as full legal and equitable owner until such time as the purchaser accepts the goods as mentioned above. You will not be charged for re-delivery of items .
