Do Comfortel supply the public?

Comfortel is a trade only supplier and we only sell and make pricing available to the hairdressing and beauty industry. If you would like to purchase online from us you will need to be a part of the beauty or hairdressing industry.

How do I register for an online account to see pricing and shop online?

Please fill out an online registration form and we will contact you and let you know the status of your application. Once you have been approved you will receive your login details and will be able to place online orders

I didn't receive my verification email approval

Registration verification can take up to 24 hours for approval.  If you do not receive the email, please check your Junk or Clutter Folder for the ‘Welcome Email’  that will have your temporary password for you to login this site.  Please contact our customer service team on 09 271 4610  (during business hours) or email us at info@comfortel.co.nz if you have any further trouble.

Do our Prices include GST?

No. All Prices listed on this website www.comfortel.co.nz are listed excluding GST.  The GST for New Zealand is calculated at the end of your order at the Cart.  GST amount for New Zealand is 15%.

How can I place an order with Comfortel?

There are several ways to place an order with us.

What type of payment methods do you accept?

We accept Direct Transfer, Visa, MasterCard.  For all online purchased we accept Mastercard & Visa.

If I order today, when can I expect the goods to be shipped?

We use a variety of professional carriers who deliver anywhere within New Zealand. Your location and order size will impact on the timeframe to get your order to you. Provided all items are in stock, delivery lead times are as follows:

  • Auckland areas 14 days.
  • North Island areas 14 -20 days.
  • South Island areas 18-25 days.

Where do you ship to?

For Comfortel New Zealand – www.comfortel.co.nz, we ship New Zealand Wide.   For other available regions, please change the country via the drop down menu in the header.

How much are shipping costs?

A minimum delivery/shipping fee of NZD $16.50 will be charged for delivery on items. As our furniture and equipment requires more attention in delivery due to size, shipping costs are calculated according to size and will be shown at checkout.

Delivery fee is not inclusive of any additional costs such as installation or 3rd party fees. Alternately, please call our customer service team on 09 271 4610 to obtain a price for delivery. Our office hours are open Monday – Friday, 9am – 6pm, excluding holidays. Delivery charges are calculated based on the delivery address and on the size of the order (some orders must be delivered by a 2 man crew). Freight Method will be determined by our warehouse.

Please note that the shipping companies we work with deliver to ground floor only. If your business is not ground floor please contact one of our offices so we can discuss alternative arrangements.

What if the goods arrive damaged?

Some products, especially mirrors and ceramic basins are fragile. It is the customer’s responsibility to advise Comfortel if any products are damaged on delivery. Any claims for damage to fragile items must be made within 6 hours of the time of delivery.

Can I cancel my order?

We pride ourselves in picking and shipping your order fast. Therefore any cancellations must be made immediately as once the goods have been shipped shipping charges will apply for the delivery and return of the goods. There is also a 10% percent restocking fee for any orders that are cancelled after shipment.

How do I know you received my online order?

You will receive an email confirmation from us to the email address you specified as soon as your order is received, and another confirmation when your order is shipped.

In the unlikely event that we are unable to fulfil your order, we will notify you within 48 hours to arrange an agreeable alternative item, or a full refund. If you don’t receive your confirmation, please Contact Us.

Do you provide installation instructions?

The majority of our items come with installation instructions. Please check the Installation tab of a particular product to see if instructions are available online. If not, please contact your local Comfortel Showroom.

What if there are missing parts?

It is extremely rare that this will happen as we have a strict procedure for picking and packaging, so until you complete the assembly, don’t throw away any packaging; sometimes small parts are hidden in the carton. In case you have anything missing, please contact your local Comfortel Showroom.

How do you handle returns?

There is a 20% restocking fee for change of mind returns. Freight is charged in addition. Goods may only be returned in original packaging.

Can I see any of your items in person?
